Marysville Golf Report 2 August
A week of reasonable weather saw a number of golfers return to the two weekly competitions at Marysville. The Thursday nine holers played stroke on the back nine holes and the winner was Brian Worcester followed by Mark Alexander who also won the nearest the pin on the 11th hole. Marysville Golf Report July 19
Last week, the Thursday nine-holers played Stableford on the back nine holes, and the winner was Gail Leigh with 18 points, followed by Lloyd Flaherty with 16 points on a countback from Geoff Ferguson. The nearest the pins were won by Mark Alexander on the 11th and Glen Rattay on the 18th. Marysville Golf Report July 11
Members and friends of the Marysville Golf club would like to send their condolences to the friends and family of Steve Darmody who died suddenly last week. Steve was an avid golfer and a member of the Alexandra Golf Club. Many of the Marysville golfers played with Steve in a number of club and Dalhousie events and most recently in the Foodworks Murrindindi Masters. Marysville Golf Report 4 July
This report should perhaps be titled ‘Marysville Golf Nothing Much to Report’ as the week of heavy rain and strong winds kept golfers at home rather than on the golf course. Thursday was a particularly wild day and no one ventured out to play in the usual nine-hole competition.
