A week of reasonable weather saw a number of golfers return to the two weekly competitions at Marysville. The Thursday nine holers played stroke on the back nine holes and the winner was Brian Worcester followed by Mark Alexander who also won the nearest the pin on the 11th hole. Members and friends of the Marysville Golf club would like to send their condolences to the friends and family of Steve Darmody who died suddenly last week. Steve was an avid golfer and a member of the Alexandra Golf Club. Many of the Marysville golfers played with Steve in a number of club and Dalhousie events and most recently in the Foodworks Murrindindi Masters.
