Marysville Golf Report 6 May

Last Saturday in rather misty and cold conditions the golfers played stroke for the monthly medal. The ladies winner was Gail Leigh (10) with nett 79 followed by Heather Jenkins (21) with nett 81. David Douthwaite (21) with nett 75 won the men’s medal on a countback from Richy Clark ( 14) . The nearest the pins were won by David Douthwaite, Richy Clark, Brian Worcester and  Peter Lilley who also won the Golden Shot. Richy Clark won the putting. Members welcomed Dustin Wong from Future Golf to the competition.

Next Saturday golfers will play a stroke round and the ladies will be playing the 4^th round of the Barton Shield. 

Members would like to thank all those who organised and assisted with the inaugural fundraising Hole in One Competition. The weather was not conducive to a pleasant day on the golf course but we thank all those visitors who braved the weather to support the initiative.
