On Thursday 15 June four ladies played in the Avenel Bowl. Avenel is the only club in the Dalhousie District which has sand greens, not the more common grass greens. They provide a unique experience and change of routine when approaching them and putting. The Marysville ladies enjoyed the day and thank Avenel for their hospitality. They also congratulate the Alexandra team for winning the Bowl. The ladies Dalhousie club events are now in recess until the Broadford Bowl on August 24th.
There will be a general working bee at the club on Thursday 29th June from 9.00am. Members are asked to please consider assisting with some minor maintenance and clean up.
